Hi, my name is

Daniel.

I am an ambitious photographer and videographer. My passion is wildlife photography, but I also try to take some landscape and city shots.

Autumn arrives . . .

. . .

Autumn brings softer light and calm colors, giving wildlife photographers clear, simple scenes to work with. The lower sun, light morning mist, and gentle late-afternoon glow create a pleasant mood without harsh highlights. Leaves turn yellow, orange, and red, adding clean backgrounds and easy contrast. Deer are active during the rut, squirrels gather food, and flocks of birds pass overhead—plenty of subjects without too much rush. Challenges remain: days are shorter, the weather changes quickly, and shadows grow long. But with a steady pace and a bit of patience, you can wait for a short break in the wind or a brief patch of light and make the shot. Autumn is about working with what’s there and keeping it simple.

About me

Hi, I’m Daniel Taucher, a 22-year-old student at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) from Austria. Alongside my interests in electronics and automobiles, I’m a passionate photographer with a strong focus on wildlife. Observing animal behavior and translating those moments into images is what drives my work. While wildlife is my main subject, I also enjoy shooting landscapes and city scenes. I take every opportunity to capture meaningful moments outdoors—and here you’ll find a selection of my favorite shots.
